It’s better to find products for your customers than to find customers for your products.
If you already have a network of people who trust you, who can’t wait to see what you put out there, who wants to know what’s next, who will miss you when you’re gone. It’s easy to find something for them because they’re already waiting for it.
You don’t have to push them, or spend a lot money trying to get people in your door. They are already in the door and all you have to do is, give them what you have. Whatever it is, it’s enough for them.
Don’t spend much time thinking of ways to make something that will be a hit. Instead spend more time creating fans, a community, have people crave what you have to offer. And when you do offer, be generous.
Be generous in a way people know what they get from you is worth more than what they give you. A podcast becomes a hit not because people pay a lot money to listen to it but because they know what they get from listening to it, is worth more than their time.
It’s better to find products for your customers, than to find customers for your products.
