Frank’s Blog : If I Was CEO, I Would Have Everyone In The Company Do A Personality Test

I believe personality tests are the best way to know how to have a conversation with your coworkers.

If I’m a guy who likes numbers and spreadsheets, I don’t want go to a meeting where all that’s being discussed is how everyone feels about a situation or what they think is the right way.

If I was CEO, I would have everyone take the DISC test and the Myers-Briggs and hang them on the wall in their office or cubicle in large clear letter. That way whenever someone wants to talk to you, they can have a quick look at the results of your tests and know how to convey a message to you.

I believe this would be a game changer mostly for the people who get labeled as introverts, or those who like to be in their corner and who keep it to themselves. They would feel more comfortable to know how to talk to the those who appears to be extroverts, outgoing,… and vice versa.

I think this would shift the dynamic of the whole company.

This is the fifth part of a series I’m doing about what I would change if I was CEO of a company. If you missed it, here is Part One, Part Two, Part Three and Part Four.
