Recently I was reminded, by a friend of mine who posted a quote from my favorite author and speaker Ziz Ziglar, that love is spelled as T-I-M-E to a child.
This struck a chord. I have been trying to do too many things at once including going to work, working on my business, starting various groups, curving out time for my wife and I, learning on how to start a business and lead, going through the hiring process for my business and by the time the day I set aside to be with my kids come (usually Sunday), I’m exhausted and all I want to do is sleep. Although I know there is no such thing as life balance (a topic for an other time), this quote reminded me to slow down, to focus on fewer things and get them done. This way I will be able to sustain it long term.
