In our younger years, we spend time to earn money and once we’re old, we spend money to earn time.
We spend money on doctors, we invest in a nice bed to get a good night sleep, we get a personal trainer/gym membership to keep up with our health, some get a nutritionist to eat healthier and a personal assistance to deal with calls and emails.
It seems like the older we get, the less healthier and the more vulnerable we become. Is there such a thing as getting old and being less vulnerable?
Instead of spending all our time to earn money in our early and middle age, what if we
- Slept 8 to 9 hrs/night.
- Exercised for 15 to 20 min/day.
- Took a 10 min walk/day.
- Drank 2 liters of water/day.
- Ate less fried food and more vegetables. (by this I mean no fried food for 6 days in a week)
If we did just that, I wounder what would happen to the money we spend in our late years, how vulnerable would we be? and how much time we would get instead!
