Today, I celebrate the day I was born! I believe being born is winning the lottery, it’s a chance we get at this thing called life, it’s a chance to make us and those around us a little better.
I’m grateful for all I have seen and thus those I haven’t seen. I’m thankful for my family and friends. I’m hugely grateful for those who were there when I was down, and those who held my hand and told me ” let me help you get through this huddle, let me walk with you!”
Today I celebrate the day I cried for the first time. Since then, I have cried many times; I have cried the day I held my son for the first time, I have cried when my daughter was born, I have cried when my lovely wife said ‘yes’, I have cried when a friend of mine said to me ‘don’t worry, I’m here with you, we will do this together.’ I have cried when I got home from a long day and my son came running and said ‘daddy’ for the first time, I have cried many times since.
Cheers to today, cheers to everyone who made me who I am today. (Especially my mom and my dad) and cheers to those who push me to better myself. (Especially my wife and my kids).
Finally, cheers to you! Whom I share my thoughts and my journey with.
