5-Frank Points Friday

Hi All!

Here is your weekly dose of “5-Frank Points Friday,” a list of what I’m pondering and exploring.

What I enjoy re-listening to –

If you want to start a business of any kind, I know something that can help you! It’s podcast by Seth Godin called Seth Godin’s Startup School. It only has 15 episodes and one last about 30 minutes or less. He explains different things about a business from the difference between a freelancer and an entrepreneur, he talks about marketing, being a consultant, partnerships, raising money, getting customers and keeping them,…. It really is an eye opener, and makes you think about a lot things you might not have been able to think about.

What I’m watching –

Lost – A TV series that has 6 seasons where the survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together in order to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island. I’m enjoying watching this show after work with a glass of dark-red wine (makes it more interesting and relaxing)!

Great advice I received in the past week –

Appreciate those around you : Instead of waiting for a person to be dead to give them flowers, what if we did so while they are still alive and get a chance to tell them how much they mean to us! You’re going to spend the money anyway to get a plane ticket or buy those flowers, why not do it while they are still alive?

Big Thanks to @Macky for such great advice.

What I’m thinking –

#ENDSARS – The special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) is a unit of the Nigerian Police Force. Over the years, there have been public records of SARS units committing acts of corruption and malpractice across the country. Despite this, the Nigerian government has failed to take action. On Tuesday, October 20, 2020 The Nigerian government sent troops to the protest grounds and started shooting people and They stopped ambulances to go anywhere so those who needed medical attention didn’t get it! This has to end. #ENDSARS

Quote I’m pondering –

“The people who are trying to make this world worse are not taking a day off. Why should I?

Bob Marley

And, as always, please give me feedback on Twitter. Which point above is your favorite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions? Please let me know. Just send a tweet to @realfrankibanga and put #5FrankPointsFriday at the end so I can find it.

Have a wonderful weekend, all.

Much love to you and yours,

Frank
