Happy Thanksgiving!

Woah, what a year! Yet, here you are, reading this…

To those who lost loved one(s), friends, work-mates, church members,… I am sorry for your loss. It’s hard for me to navigate or understand what’s happening in your world and I’m deeply sorry it happened. It’s not supposed to be this way and all I wish is that all of this goes away soon.

I am sad for those who lost their lives from COVID-19, I’m sad for those whose health condition got worse due to COVID-19, I’m sad for those who don’t have anything to eat, for those who have loved ones that are currently sick, for those in the hospital right now, for those who have elder parents and can’t even visit them, those who are stuck at home with kids and no food, those who got fired, laid off or furloughed, …

Yet, here we are! So many things to be grateful for. I am grateful for everyone who was there for me, I’m grateful for my health and the health of my family, I’m grateful for having people like you that keeps me accountable for the things I set out to do, I’m grateful that you keep giving me your time and attention, I’m grateful for my wife and my two kids, I’m grateful for having a roof over my head and food in the pantry,…

May today be the day we realize all that we have lost, mourn and be sad about them and also realize all the good things that keeps happening in our lives.

I wish you a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving!
