“The people you lead don’t care until they know how much you care”
They won’t care about your vision, what needs to be done, the urgency, and the attention to detail until they know how much you care about them. They need to be seen and heard as individuals. Their fears, dreams, visions, and goals; as human beings.
And it’s okay if what they want out of life is different than yours. It can’t be and shouldn’t be. Just care enough to guide them, be with them, mentor them and help them become more, be more, and do more especially when they can’t see it for themselves.
