Love is giving someone the power to destroy you and trusting they won’t use it.
I don’t know who came up with this phrase, but when I read it, it resonated. To me, this goes as far as the friendship we have and all those meaningful relationships we have. Once we connect on a deep level to where you know things about me that would crush me, but I have total trust in you that you won’t use it.
